WAITING RESTRICTIONS NOTICE 2024

NOTICE: is hereby given that on 22nd July 2024 The Council of the City and County of Swansea made the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers. The order will be effective from 1st August 2024, as set out in the schedules below. A copy of the order and plan may be inspected during office hours at the Civic Centre, Oystermouth Road, Swansea, SA1 3SN. Any person wishing to challenge the validity of the order or procedures used in making this order may apply to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date the order was made.

SCHEDULES
SCHEDULE 1
REVOCATIONS
The existing Orders are revoked insofar as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

SCHEDULE 2
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
SWANSEA ROAD

On its south side from a point 16 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Brithwen Road westwards to a point 6 metres west of the western kerbline of Brithwen Road.

On its northern side from a point 12 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Bridge Road westwards to a point 9 metres west of the western kerbline of Bridge Road.

BRITHWEN ROAD
On both sides from its junction with the southern kerbline of Swansea Road southwards for a distance of 17 metres.

VICTORIA ROAD
On its southern side from a point in line with the eastern boundary of property number 97 Victoria Road westwards for a distance of 35 metres.

BRIDGE ROAD
On its western side from its junction with the northern kerbline of Swansea Road northwards for a distance of 30 metres and on its eastern side northwards for a distance of 24 metres north of that kerbline.

SCHEDULE 3
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME AND NO LOADING/UNLOADING AT ANY TIME SWANSEA ROAD

From a point 15 metres east of its junction with the eastern kerbline of Rosewarne Close westwards to a point 21 metres west of the western kerbline of Rosewarne Close.

ROSEWARNE CLOSE
On both sides from its junction with the northern kerbline of Swansea Road northwards for a distance of 10 metres.
