What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
NOTICE is hereby given that Brighton & Hove City Council ("the Council") proposes to make the Orders named below under the relevant sections of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, which if they come into force will introduce various changes to the waiting or parking restrictions in the part or parts of the roads identified:
BRIGHTON & HOVE OUTER AREAS (WAITING, LOADING AND PARKING) AND CYCLE LANES CONSOLIDATION ORDER 2024 AMENDMENT ORDER NO.* 202* (REF: TRO-25-2024)
- Beechwood Avenue, Beechwood Close, Court Farm Road & Hollingbury Rise West - Proposec double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time)
- Freehold Terrace - Clarifying the descriptions of the double yellow lines (No Waiting At Any Time) on the order (no change on ground)
- Woodland Drive - Proposed single yellow line
- Ashurst Road, Bampfield Street, Beal Crescent, Birdham Road, Brede Close, Brentwood Crescent, Carden Hill, Catherine Vale, Chailey Road, Channel View Road, Chrisdory Road, Cooksbridge Road, Cowley Drive, Crabtree Avenue, Cranmer Avenue, Downside, Drove Crescent, Egmont Road, Gladstone Road, Goodwood Way, Harmsworth Crescent, Hodshrove Road, Kipling Avenue, Langley Crescent, Laughton Road, Lyminster Avenue, Meadow Parade, North Lane, Poplar Avenue, Ringmer Road, Roedale Road, Rowan Close, Ryelands Drive, Selsfield Drive, Sherbourne Close, Stanley Avenue, Stapley Road, Stephens Road, The Avenue, Warren Avenue, Westfield Crescent, Wickhurst Road & Woodbourne Avenue - Proposed disabled badge holders parking place
- 46 Barn Rise, 34 Beechers Road, 26 Bolney Road, opposite 23 Denton Drive, 27 Hollingbury Place, 56 Lincoln Road, Moyne Close, Opposite 11, outside 12 & 14 North Road (Portslade), adjoining Nos.37 to 42 Ryelands Drive, 37 Stephens Road & 31 Wickhurst Road -Proposed removal of disabled badge holders parking place
- Godwin Road - Proposed disabled badge holder's personal parking place
A copy of this Notice, the proposed Orders, plans showing the lengths of road affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Orders may be seen online at www.brighton-hove.gov.uk/current-tros. All objections and other representations relating to the proposed Orders must be made in writing and all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made and should be sent to the Corporate Director City Services Brighton & Hove City Council, TRO Team, Room G40, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road Hove, BN3 3BQ quoting the TRO reference number shown above or by e-mail to TROcomment@brighton-hove.gov.uk or online (see details above) no later than 16 August 2024.
