A21 TRUNK ROAD (WESTERHAM TO LONGFIELD ROAD)
TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS

Notice is hereby given that National Highways Limited has varied The A21 Trunk Road (Morleys Roundabout to Fairthorne Interchange) (Temporary Restriction and Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024(a), originally made on 24th April 2024.

The effect of the variation is to extend the closures as follows:-

1. instead of starting at Morleys Interchange, the southbound closure will start at Westerham Interchange (A25) and end at Vauxhall Interchange (A26/A2014), and include all additional slip roads leading to and from this extension, and all additional lay-bys adjacent to this extension; and

2. instead of starting at Vauxhall Interchange, the northbound closure will start at Longfield Road Junction and end at Westerham Interchange (A25), and include all additional slip roads leading to and from this extension, and all additional lay-bys adjacent to this extension.

The variation will come into force on 3rd August 2024, ceasing when the works are complete.

Traffic affected by the closures will be diverted via other junctions of the A21 or by using the A25, A224, A225, A227, B245, A227, A26, A2014, A26 and the A264 in both directions. Access will be provided to local properties under works escort.

The temporary closures and diversion routes will be clearly indicated by traffic signs when they are in operation during the works period.
