(Footpath 104 Wickford & Footpath 104 Shotgate) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 104, Wickford & Footpath 104 Shotgate, in the Borough of Basildon. From Alicia Walk northwest for approximately 29 metres across Beauchamps foot crossing.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 02 August 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while a level crossing upgrade is undertaken.
No alternative route available.
The Order will come into effect on 02 August 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bramble Road, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bramble Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Lansdown Avenue to its junction with Haresland Avenue a distance of approximately 100m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD8RL87X - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Lansdown Avenue, Fairmead Avenue, Haresland Close and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Church Road, Rawreth) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Road, Rawreth in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 130m north west of its junction with Chelmsford Road for a distance of approximately 100m in a north westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M103732 - Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water leak works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water. Alternative routes are available via:

The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Daws Heath Road/Fairmead Avenue, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Daws Heath Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Western Road to its junction with Bramble Road a distance of approximately 360m.
2. To temporarily close that length of Fairmead Avenue, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Daws Heath Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a south easterly direction. The closures are scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WD0DLT7X/02 - Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling and jointing works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Dry Street, Langdon Hills) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Dry Street, Langdon Hills in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 225m southwest of its junction with One Tree Hill for a distance of approximately 240m in a southwesterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2368684 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway defect works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

(Great Wheatley Road, Rayleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Great Wheatley Road, Rayleigh in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Western Road for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2024 for 8 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30041250509 -UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cable installation works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.

(Pound Lane, Basildon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pound Lane, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with A127 to its junction with Harrow Road a distance of approximately 205m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH10004074 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while parapet repair works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Southend Road, Wickford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Southend Road, Wickford in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Rectory Grove to its junction with Hawkins Close a distance of approximately 340m.
2. To temporarily introduce a 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Basildon Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 15 nights (19:00-05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2367518 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while resurfacing works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

2. Southend Road, Golden Jubilee Way, London Road Roundabout, Golden Jubilee Way, Runwell Road Roundabout, Runwell Road, Rettendon Turnpike, Turnpike Link, A130 New Bypass Roundabout, Battlesbridge Bypass, Chelmsford Road, Carpenters Arms Roundabout, London Road, Southend Road.
The Order will come into effect on 1st August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, District of Rochford) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) (No.3) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the District of Rochford as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary 'No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping' restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above lengths of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Rochford District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary 'No Waiting at Any Time' restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of roads only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 1st August 2024, exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Adelaide Gardens, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from a point approximately 80m south then south east of its junction with St Marys Drive for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WDJNV71P - Openreach). (Hall Crescent, Hadleigh) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hall Crescent, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 20m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30069540960 - UK Power Networks). Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Harrow Road, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 145m west of its junction with School Lane for a distance of approximately 40m in a westerly direction. Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pipps Hill Road North, Ramsden Crays in the Borough of Basildon, from its junction with Wash Road for a distance of approximately 500m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000013770 - Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole bracket replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
