(WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2020 (AMENDMENT NO. 6) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend “The Northamptonshire County Council (Kettering District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2020” as specified in the Schedule below.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing NNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Order will become effective on 26th July 2024.

No.4. Hilltop Avenue, Barton Seagrave – Both sides of junction with Polwell Lane, outside of No. 164 for 24 metres and No. 166 for 25 metres. From the junction with Grosvenor Road outside No. 2 for a length of 44 metres to No. 137 covering the junction. Kettering Road, Rothwell– Both sides junction protection markings outside No. 1-9 Cordwainer Court Flats for 13 metres and outside the boundary of No. 43. Opposite on Kettering Road for a length of 22.5 metres from boundary of No. 46 to before the access of property No. 44. Barton Road, Barton Seagrave– To cover turning head on all sides. Halls Close, Geddington – From junction with Queen Eleanor Road on both sides for 7.5 metres westerly and 6 metres easterly. Further length continuous past No. 5 and No. 14 into turning head. Around the inner bend in Halls Close for 13.5 metres. Grafton Street, Kettering – All junctions at 10 metres protection markings at Oakley Street outside No. 24 and No. 29 and Grafton Street outside No’s. 9 to 11 and the corner verge adjacent to the private car park. Duke Street, Kettering– Junction with Albion Road for 7 metres both sides outside No. 41 and No.12 and No’s. 24-26. Bayes Street, Kettering Junction with Oxford Street both sides as protection markings at lengths of 6.5 metres outside No. 2 and for 7.5 metres outside No.36. Olympic Way, Kettering – Both sides of the junction with Merrivale Close for 8.5 metres around boundary with No. 2 and boundary with No.8. Opposite junction a further length of 23 metres covering properties No’s. 19 to 23. Mill Road, Kettering – Around the semi-circle build out structure from no 3 Linden Avenue to 132 Mill Road for a length of 32.5 metres. Leicester Street, Kettering – Both sides of the junction with Oxford Street as protection markings at 6.5 metres outside properties No. 1 and No. 42. Rock Hill, Kettering – All junctions at 10 metres protection markings at Rushton Road outside No’s. 17-21 and boundary of No’s 12 to No. 28 and Crispin Street outside boundary of No.2 and No’s. 18 to 20.

REMOVAL OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME

Broadway, Kettering – East side, remove 5 metres from existing restriction outside of No. 110 ‘Premier Convenience Store’. Princes Street, Kettering – Both sides for a length of 8 metres outside mid-point of No. 1 to No. 3 and mid-point No.2 to boundary with No.2a Further section at No.25 to No.27 only for 8 metres. Wood Street, Kettering – One side only outside boundary of No.162 –No.164 for a length of 154 metres past No.218 to adjoin with existing for junction protections. Barnwell Street, Kettering – One side only outside No.83 towards junction with Mill Road to mid-point of No.85 to adjoin to existing and a length of 4 metres from the existing in between boundary of No.204 and No.87. At junction with Edmund Street both sides for a length of 8 metres to adjoin existing restrictions and for a further length of 6 metres south of No.222. In an easterly direction on one side only for 4 metres outside No.91 to adjoin existing restrictions.

(SINGLE YELLOW LINES) MON-FRI 8AM-5PM

London Road, Kettering – One side, from existing restrictions between Hawthorn Road and Broadway for 107 metres in westerly direction.

LOADING BAY RESTRICTION (AT ALL TIMES)

Broadway, Kettering – East side, remove 5 metres from existing restriction outside of No. 110 the local convenience store.

REMOVAL OF TIME LIMITED WAITING BAY ‘MON-SAT 9AM-4:30PM

1 HOUR NO RETURN WITHIN 1 HOUR’ RESTRICTION

Russell Street, Kettering – Outside No.39 from build out to No.51 the previous MIND building.
