(WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (AMENDMENT NO. 20) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that North Northamptonshire Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 32, 35 to 39 and 45 to 55 and Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to amend “The Northamptonshire County Council (Corby District) (Waiting and Loading Restrictions and On-Street Parking Places) (Consolidation) Order 2009” as specified in the Schedule below.

A COPY of the Order may be inspected at Kier Highways, Brixworth Depot, Harborough Road, Brixworth, Northants, NN6 9BX at a time and date specified by appointment only by calling 01604 529700. A copy of the Order can also be obtained on request by emailing NNCParkingenquiries@kier.co.uk If you wish to question the validity of the Order or of any provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act, or of any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to the Order, you may, within six weeks from the date of this Notice apply to the High Court for this purpose. The Order will become effective on 26th July 2024.

Chapel Road, Weldon – At the bend with Bridge Street going west towards Chapel Road surrounding the property boundary of no 2. Leighton Road, Corby – At both sides of the junction with Landseer Court extending for 15 metres each side on to Leighton Road Corby outside no 23 and 25. Leighton Road, Corby – At both sides of the junction with Lely Court extending for 13m each side on to Leighton Road Corby outside no 10 and 12. Leighton Road, Corby – Continuous at both sides of the junction with Dobson Walk extending for 9m to the east and 10m to the west. Length of Leighton Road from no 56 to the boundary of no 79. Constable Road, Corby – Both sides, from the west boundary of no 87 to the turning head for 3.5 metres and including the junction with Morland Road for 10 metres. Lyveden Way, Corby – Outside opposite of Oakley Vale school entrance for 73 metres and both sides of southern roundabout including into junctions with Cheltenham Road for 22 metres. Diamond Drive, Corby – North side Cottingham Road, along west side of Diamond Drive for a total of 67 metres from slip road outside of no 34 in to junction with Diamond Drive. A stretch 13.5 metres outside no 11, before Lime Trees Grove junction. After junction for 55 metres northerly followed by a further stretch of 12 metres. On the east side of Diamond Drive a stretch of 40 metres from the junction with Cottingham Road, a further section of 15 metres to the north and opposite side of Lime Trees Grove. A further stretch of 26 metres and 24.5 metres with 5 metres junction markings both sides at Regal Close. Rowlett Road, Corby – Outside no 5 and 6 for distance of 20 metres. Rowlett Road, Corby – 10 metres junction protections at junction both sides with Darley Dale Road with eastside extending 33 metres to the footpath for Corby Baptist Church. At junction with Clydesdale Road for 17.5 metres on east side and for total 45 metres on the west adjoining with the junction of Wensleydale Park for 10 metres easterly side of junction and 15 metres westerly. Hillside Crescent, Weldon – From far boundary with no 63 to no 67 at 27 metres. Opposite at 10 metres junction protection marking outside no and at 4 metres outside no 61 extending in a southerly direction to boundary. School Lane – Weldon – For 26 metres at eastern side of junction with Stamford Road extending in to School Lane and westerly for 24.5 metres extending in to School Lane. High Street, Weldon – At junction with Church View for 28 metres extending in an easterly direction into junction with A427 Oundle Road and westerly for 10 metres as junction protections and at junction with Bridge Street outside no 31 for 10 metres. Occupation Road, Corby – 10 metres both sides at junction with Tansfield Grove. At junction with Woodfield Grove on easterly side a length of 31.5 metres extending for 5 metres into Occupation Road. Westerly junction for 16 metres in total. 15 metres at junction with Westfields Road into Occupation Road. At buildout for 31 metres from boundary of 39 to 139 extending 12 metres around on west side. Easterly around buildout for 23.5 metres in total. Lyveden Way, Corby – West side, protection at junctions and keep left bollards for 71 metres opposite Livingstone Road, for 25 metres at junction of Flycatcher Road, for 38 metres on inside bend outside of no 453, and for 46 metres from boundary of no 469 to no 23. School Lane, Weldon – Weldon A427 both sides of junction with A427 Oundle Road for 8 metres to the east and extending 11 metres into School Lane, with 13.5 metres to the west extending 28.5 metres in to School Lane.

REMOVAL OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTIONS

Stamford Road, Weldon – South side, for 10 metres between the boundaries of no 11 and 13 on existing lining.
