(Footpath 19, Kelvedon Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 19, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 47 metres Southeast of Broad Meadow, for approximately 115 metres southeast.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 01 August 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while construction works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via a path around the perimeter of the site.
The Order will come into effect on 01 August 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Footpath 42 Herongate & Ingrave) (Temporary Prohibition of Use) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order
under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close Footpath 42 Herongate & Ingrave in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Thorndon Gate, southwest for 1090 metres to Bridleway 173.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 06 May 2024 or where appropriate signs are showing and weather permitting. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge replacement and surfacing works are undertaken.
The alternative route will be via Thorndon Gate, Brentwood Road, Footpath 41 and Footpath 156.
The Order will come into effect on 06 May 2024 and may continue in force for 6 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kelvedon Hall Road, Kelvedon Hatch) (Appetite on the Farm (Special Event) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Clearway) Order 2024

(Appetite on the Farm) (Special Event) (Temporary 30MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Orders under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close Kelvedon Hall Road, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from the junction of Church Road, north to the junction with A128 Ongar Road.
The alternative route will be via A128 Ongar Road, Church Road and vice versa.
2. A temporary ‘No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closure to facilitate the event.
3. To temporary introduce a 30MPH speed limit on the following length of A128 Ongar Road, Kelvedon Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood. Approximately 250 metres south of the entrance of Kelvedon Hall north for approximately 750 metres. (The road is currently national speed limit)
The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On-street parking) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019 will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the said lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The temporary stopping restriction, closure and speed restriction are scheduled to commence 8am on 03 August 2024 to 23:59 on 04 August 2024 and are required for public safety while the Appetite on the Farm event takes place.
The Order will come into effect 03 August 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Birds Green, Willingale) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Birds Green, Willingale in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 275m north east of its junction with Millers Green Road for a distance approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410212836 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Dunmow Road and vice versa (with access only into School Lane and Birds Green).
The Order will come into effect on 31st July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Blackmore Road, Fryerning/Ingatestone Road, Blackmore) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Blackmore Road, Fryerning/ Ingatestone Road, Blackmore in the Borough of Brentwood, from the junction with Ingatestone Road to the junction with Blackmore Road a distance of approximately 1500m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365640 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sign and bollard works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Mountnessing Road, Swallows Cross Road, Thoby Lane, Roman Road, Mountnessing – Ingatestone Link Road, Trueloves Lane, Green Street and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Hook End Lane, Hook End) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hook End Lane, Hook End, in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Nursery Road to its junction with Second Avenue a distance approximately 130m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 19th August 2024 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410237404 – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while relaying pipe works are undertaken by Affinity Water.
An alternative route is available via Hook End Lane, Blackmore Road, Tipps Cross Lane and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Mill Lane, Moreton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Mill Lane, Moreton in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Harlow Road for a distance of approximately 325m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 18th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFMC310N – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Mill Lane, Church Road, High Laver Road, Harlow Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 31st July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Well Lane for a distance of approximately 145m in a south easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2024 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (KA190EPRGHAH0098AB – Gigaclear). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while micro ducts are laid by Gigaclear.
An alternative route is available via Ashwells Road, Crow Green Road, Ongar Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 17th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Various Roads, Brentwood) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) (Streetworks No.3) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
To temporarily close those lengths of roads in the Borough of Brentwood as detailed in the Schedule.
The works are scheduled to commence after 17th July 2024, as stated on a valid permit. The scheduled dates may vary for th ese works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on One.Network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the roads.
The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.
The Order came into effect on 17th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
