Foxcote Avenue - Temporary Introduction of No Waiting at Any Time Restriction

What is happening?

BATH & NORTH EAST SOMERSET COUNCIL

(THTTC3582 FOXCOTE AVENUE, PEASEDOWN ST JOHN, BATH) (TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF NO WAITING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTION) (TEMPORARY INTRODUCTION OF A LOADING BAY) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS GIVEN that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce no waiting at any time restrictions in order to prohibit parking and waiting in that length of Foxcote Avenue, Peasedown St John, Bath:

• From its point with lamp column no. 1 extending north east for approximately 29 metres.

• From a point approximately 14 metres southwest of lamp column no. 3 extending north east for approximately 29 metres.

• From a point approximately 10 metres east of lamp column no. 7 extending west for approximately 94 metres.

• From its point with lamp column no. 9 extending south east to its point with lamp column no. 10.

• A temporary loading bay shall also be introduced from its point with lamp column no. 5 extending west for approximately 18 metres.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to enable contractors to facilitate the passing and re-passing of construction traffic during building works at Sulis Hospital on the 31st July 2024 for a maximum period of 6 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be affected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. Works are anticipated to be for FIVE MONTHS.
