Alinora Avenue, Worthing - Temporary Road Closure

What is happening?

(Worthing: Alinora Avenue) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under the
Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to
temporarily close Alinora Avenue in Worthing, from its junction
with Goring Road, southwards for 25m.
The road closure is needed to allow highway improvement
works to take place in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 29 July 2024 and remain in
force until 16 August 2024. Once made, the Order may remain
in force for up to 18 months, or until the proposed works are
completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes
for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on
the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.

(Worthing: Stonehurst Road to Pelham Road Footpath)
(Temporary Closure) Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that not less than 7 days from the date
of this notice, WSCC intends to make an Order under the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to
temporarily close the footpath between Stonehurst Road and
Pelham Road in Worthing throughout its entire length.
The closure of this route is needed to allow maintenance works
to an electricity substation to be carried out in safety.
The Order will come into effect on 14 August 2024 and remain
in force until 30 August 2024. Once made, the Order may
remain in force for up to 6 months, or until the proposed works
are completed, whichever is earlier.
During the operative periods of this Order an alternative route
for pedestrians will be indicated on site.

(Worthing: Various Roads) (Roads Maintenance
Programme Order Two) (Temporary Traffic Regulation)
Order 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that WSCC has made an Order under
the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will
be to make temporary road closures, temporary 20MPH Speed
limits and temporarily prohibit parking on the following roads
in Worthing:
Marine Parade from Bath Place to Marine Place, Romany Road
from 50m west of Yeoman Road, eastwards for 100m,
Yeoman Road from Romany Road southwards for 50m.
These restrictions are needed to allow highway surfacing
works to be carried out in safely. Each of the affected roads are
expected to be closed for up to three days and affected roads
may be closed in sections. Dates for works will be confirmed
in advance locally nearer the time they are carried out.
The Order will come into effect on 1 August 2024 and remain
in force for 18 months.
During the operative periods of this Order alternative routes
for vehicles will be indicated on site. Access to properties on
the affected length of road will be maintained at all times.
