What is happening?
THE BOROUGH OF HALTON (VARIOUS FOOTPATHS, DARESBURY) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OR RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Halton Borough Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Road(s)/Footpath(s) affected:
Footpath D1 - Between Newton Lane & Daresbury Lane, Daresbury
Footpath D8 - Off Warrington Road, Daresbury
Footpath D9 - Hall Lane, Daresbury
Reason for making the Order: the Council is satisfied that traffic on the roads should be prohibited and/or restricted because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads.
Effect of the Order: during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs no person shall during the works period enter or proceed in or along the road.
Alternative Routes: where available suitably signed alternative route(s) will be provided.
Date Order to come into effect: 25 July 2024
Maximum duration of the Order: 6 months from the date the Order comes into effect.
Note: the closures are for the Creamfields Festival 2024 and are expected to be over a period of approximately 42 days, from 25 July 2024 to 4 September 2024. For further information please contact: 07516 577321.
