What is happening?

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1) THE BOLTON (RESTRICTED BYWAY BOLTON 077) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) (NO.) ORDER 2024

The Borough Council of Bolton intends to make an Order not less than seven days from the date of this Notice.

The effect which will be operative from 10th August 2024 and will prohibit all traffic from using Restricted Byway Bolton 077 commencing from a point on the junction of Sharpies Park and Oldham's Lane point A at grid reference SD 70807 11830 in a generally southwest by west direction to point B on Moss Lea at the junction with Sharpies Meadows at grid reference SD 70662 11734; as shown by the bold black line on the Order plan 1 Bol077 over a total distance of approximately 174 metres.

An alternative route will be made available.

Details of the route will be published on site. The Order is necessary to facilitate the installation of temporary schooling units and will continue for a period of 1 day.
