WALDERSLADE ROAD, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to facilitate the urgent replacement of the gas main -
Walderslade Road, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Walderslade Road from the junction with Maidstone Road to the junction with Wayfield Road and (b) in each of Park Crescent, The Ridgeway, Magpie Hall Road and Alamein Avenue for a distance of 50 metres from Walderslade Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected.
Alternative routes will be provided and signed as the works progress. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
These works commenced under Notice on Monday, 22 July 2024, will be continued by an Order made on 23 July 2024 which will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are programmed for completion within five weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

VICTORIA STREET, EAST ROW AND MAIDSTONE ROAD ROCHESTER
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out -
Victoria Street, East Row and Maidstone Road, Rochester - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) for the entire length of Victoria Street and East Row, and (b) in Maidstone Road between East Row and King Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via B2097 Rochester Road, A229 Maidstone Road and City Way.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 6 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 6 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within three days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

TORONTO AVENUE AND GORDON ROAD, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable gas main inspections to be carried out -
Toronto Avenue and Gordon Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Toronto Road between the junction with Canadian Avenue and the junction with Gordon Road and (b) in Gordon Road from the junction with Toronto Road for a distance of 100 metres in a westerly direction. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Woodlands Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 12 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 12 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within three weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

STURDEE AVENUE AND BARNSOLE ROAD, GILLINGHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out -
Sturdee Avenue and Barnsole Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic (a) in Sturdee Avenue from the junction with Barnsole Road for a distance of 50 metres in an easterly direction and (b) in Barnsole Road for a distance of 50 metres north and south of the junction with Sturdee Avenue. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Napier Road and Canterbury Street.
This Order will come into force on Thursday, 22 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Thursday, 22 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within one day (with works taking place between 8am and 5pm). The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

HIGH STREET, ROCHESTER:
BANNED RIGHT TURN - NOTICE OF PROPOSAL
THE MEDWAY COUNCIL (PRESCRIBED ROUTES)
(VARIOUS ROADS)
(AMENDMENT NO.1) ORDER 202*
1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Medway Council proposes to make the abovementioned Order under sections 1, 2 and 4 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Order would be to formalise the existing banned right turn for all vehicles from HIGH STREET, ROCHESTER into STAR HILL (A2), ROCHESTER.
3. The proposal intends to facilitate civil enforcement of the banned turn and the provision of camera enforcement in accordance with Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
4. Copies of the proposed Order, the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order, and a plan showing its effect, may be inspected at Chatham Library, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent, ME4 4TX during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive (except for bank and public holidays). Alternatively, electronic copies of the documents can be requested by sending an email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk on the understanding that it may take up to 5 working days for the request to be processed.
5. Any objections or other representations to the proposed Order should be sent in writing by email to TROconsult@medway.gov.uk or by post to “Parking Design team” at the address specified in paragraph 4 above by Friday, 16 August 2024, stating name, address and grounds for objection or support.

MEDWAY STREET, CHATHAM
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable a new manhole to be installed in the road -
Medway Street, Chatham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 12 and 14 Medway Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be provided and signed via New Road Avenue. Emergency access will be maintained at all times.
This Order will come into force on Tuesday, 27 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Tuesday, 27 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within one week. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable carriageway resurfacing to be carried out -
Marlborough Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic between the junction with York Avenue and the junction with Lock Street. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via High Street, Jeffrey Street, Skinner Street, Canterbury Street, Rock Avenue, Montgomery Road, Windmill Road and York Avenue.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 26 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 26 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within two weeks. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
Notice is hereby given that Medway Council have made an Order the effect of which will be to impose the following temporary prohibitions or restrictions on traffic to enable water supply repairs to be carried out -
Gillingham Road, Gillingham - to be closed to all vehicular traffic across the frontage of 183 Gillingham Road. Pedestrian traffic will not be affected. An alternative route will be available via Napier Road, Borough Road and Nelson Road.
This Order will come into force on Monday, 5 August 2024 and will be valid for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner. The works are due to commence on or after Monday, 5 August 2024 and are programmed for completion within five days. The Order will be effective only when the appropriate signs are being displayed.
