Church Street, Ladywood - Temporary Prohibition Of Through Traffic Safety For New Steelwork To The Roof Area

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 14(2)
(CHURCH STREET, LADYWOOD) (7935194) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is hereby given that Birmingham City Council intend, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle to proceed along Church Street between its junction with Cornwall Street and its junction with Great Charles Street.
The temporary Order is required to facilitate the erection of a crane on the highway in safety for new steelwork to the roof area of 65 Church Street.
An alternative route for vehicles affected by this Order will be signed on site.
Access to frontages will be maintained as necessary.
These prohibitions shall apply only during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs prescribed by The Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.
The Order will come into operation on Monday 5th August 2024 and will remain in force for a period of 2 months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier.
