Station Lane, Walton-On-Trent - Temporary Road Closure To Facilitate Closure Due To Bridge Strike
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE STATION LANE, WALTON-ON-TRENT
WHEN: 06 August to 24 December 2024
WHERE: Station Lane, Walton-on-Trent from a point approx. 230m west of its Jct. with Main Street, for an approx. distance of 122m west over the county boundary.
REASON: To facilitate closure due to bridge strike.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Lane, B5016 Lichfield Road, A38 to Branston Interchange, A5121 Parkway/ Wellington Road, A5189: Shobnall Road; St Peter’s Bridge, Main Street, Rosliston Road, Walton Road, Main Street, Station Lane and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
