THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF CALDERDALE

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024

(NORLAND TOWN ROAD, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Norland Town Road from Blue Ball Cottages to Upper Old Hall for a distance of approximately 15 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via London Road, Spark House Lane, Sowerby Croft Lane, Berry Moor Road, unaffected part of Norland Town Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 29th July 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 31st July 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00.

(ASHVILLE GARDENS, PELLON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Ashville Gardens from No. 18 to No. 20 for a distance of approximately 10 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Weatherhouse Terrace Ryecroft Lane, unaffected part of Ashville Gardens. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 2nd August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 14:30.

(MILL LANE, MIXENDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water have made an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mill Lane from near access to Shaw Mill House for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Mixenden Lane, Straight Lane, Crag Lane, Mixenden Road, Clough Lane, unaffected part of Mill Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 2nd August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th August 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

MARK LANE, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Above Utilities intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Mark Lane from No. 22 to No. 32 for a distance of approximately 36 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Ashenhurst Road, Oak Avenue, Cowhurst Avenue. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th August 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(PROSPECT STREET, BOOTHTOWN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Above Services Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Prospect Street from No. 42 to No. 52 for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Range Bank, Portland Road. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 23rd August 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(SPARK HOUSE LANE, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Spark House Lane from No. 5 to No. 17 for a distance of approximately 4 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Sowerby Croft Lane, Berry Moor Lane, Norland Town Road, London Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th August 2024. The Order will be in operation 24 hours daily during this period.

(STRETCHGATE LANE, PELLON)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Future Network Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Stretchgate Lane from its junction with Pellon New Road to Mount Pellon for a distance of approximately 50 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Mount Pellon, Pellon New Road and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(THE INCLINE, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Yorkshire Water intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of The Incline from its junction with Claremount Road to Godley Lane for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via New Bank, Godley Road, Godley Lane and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 19:00  &  06:00.

(BRIGHOUSE WOOD LANE, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Future Network Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Brighouse Wood Lane from its junction with Wilton Street to Elmwood Drive for a distance of approximately 230 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Elland Road, Halifax Road, unaffected part of Brighouse Wood Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 14th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00  &  17:00.

(HILL TOP ROAD, SOWERBY BRIDGE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Sunbelt Rentals Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Hill Top Road from its junction with Timmey Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. No alternative route available – access will be maintained when possible. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30  &  15:30.

(PHOENIX STREET, BRIGHOUSE)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Future Network Solutions intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Phoenix Street from its junction with Mill Lane and Huddersfield Road for a distance of approximately 139 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via Wakefield Road, Clifton Road, Huddersfield Road, Mill Lane. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 13th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 13th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 08:00 & 17:00.

(PUDSEY ROAD, TODMORDEN)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by  Sunbelt Rentals Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Pudsey Road from No.21 to No.12 for a distance of approximately 150 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. For alternative route follow diversion on site. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 14th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 16th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 15:30.

(SWALES MOOR ROAD, HALIFAX)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Calderdale Council because of works by Above Ltd intend to make an Order the effect of which will be that no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in the length of Swales Moor Road from Wood Top Quarry entrance to No.14 for a distance of approximately 20 metres. PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with works being carried out and pedestrian access is maintained at all times and vehicular access for the emergency services is maintained. The alternative route is via unaffected part of Swales Moor Road, Ploughcroft Lane, A647 and vice versa. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 15th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months, notwithstanding that the works may be completed sooner and the road re-opened on 15th August 2024. The Order will be in operation daily during this period between the hours of 09:30 & 13:30.

(TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2024 A58 LEEDS ROAD, HIPPERHOLME)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Borough Council of Calderdale because of works by Morrison Water Services intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary 30mph speed limit in the length of A58 Leeds Road from its junction with Rookes Lane in a south-westerly direction for a distance of approximately 480 metres. It is proposed that the Order will come into operation on 12th August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum 18 months. It is anticipated that the 30mph speed limit restriction will be lifted as soon as the works are complete, which is expected to be 26th January 2025. The 30mph speed limit will be in operation 24 hours daily for the duration of the Order whilst 30mph speed limit signs remain in place.
