NOTICE OF MAKING
BISHOPS ROAD AREA (WEIGHT RESTRICITON) ORDER AMENDMENT 2024
Notice is hereby given that The Council of the City of Peterborough has made the above mentioned Order under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to 2(4), 4(2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ‘the Act of 1984’ and of all other enabling powers.
The effect of this Order is to add amend clause 3(d) of the Bishops Road Area (Weight Restriction) Order 1994 such that the wording becomes:
3(d) In connection with street cleaning, refuse collection and refuse transportation activities by Council Service Vehicles.
This Order came into effect on the 18th July 2024 and copies of the order, along with a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be requested by contacting 01733 747474 or trafficregulation@peterborough.gov.uk
