Overend Road, Cradley Heath - Temporary One-Way Operation

What is happening?

SANDWELL METROPOLITAN BOROUGH COUNCIL 

The Borough Council of Sandwell (Overend Road, Cradley Heath) (Temporary One-Way Operation) Order 2024 has made an order to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding, other than inasouthwesterly direction, along Overend Road between Banners Lane and Corngreaves Road. A diversion route for north-eastbound traffic will be signed via Banners Lane, Shelton Lane, Belle Vale and Corngreaves Road. The maximum duration is 18 months but the work is expected to be completed by 16/08/2024 effective from 29/07/2024. Purpose – to facilitate works to reinforce electricity cables by National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED). For more information please contact Chris Bullock of NGED – 07837 991018.
