What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES

HEATH END ROAD & ABBEY WELLS ROAD, EAST WOODHAY, BASINGSTOKE

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council has made an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD(S) TO BE CLOSED:

1. Heath End Road between its junction with Chalkpit Hill and a point approximately 200 Metres North-East from its junction with Abbey Wells Road.

2. Abbey Wells Road between its junction with Heath End Road and its junction with Fullers Lane.

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Ball Hill Road, Wilton Hill Road, Fullers Lane, Stargrove Lane, Chalk Pit Hill

DURATION OF ORDER: from 23rd July 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day, working between the hours 09:30 - 15:30).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to carry out desilt works. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk

Openreach will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly affected while the work is being carried out.
