What is happening?

DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY 30 MPH SPEED LIMIT
A6007, CHALONS WAY, ILKESTON

WHEN: 12 August 2024 (09:30 to 15:30)
WHERE: It will be necessary to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph, on A6007 Chalons Way from its roundabout Jct. with Rutland Street to its roundabout Jct. with White Lion Square (for a distance of 1100m), in both directions.
REASON: To facilitate cyclic highway maintenance.
The restriction will be in force for the time stated or until the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place.

The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit traffic from travelling at a speed in excess of 30 mph.
