TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
A5004 MANCHESTER ROAD, BUXTON - LONG HILL, WHALEY BRIDGE

WHEN: 29 July to 02 August 2024 (09:30 to 15:00 daily)
WHERE: A5004 Manchester Road, Long Hill, Buxton between Jct. with Old Road, Buxton and Jct. with Vaughan Road, Whaley Bridge.
REASON: To facilitate traffic signing and road marking replacements.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: A53, A6 and A5004 and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Derbyshire County Council apologises for any inconvenience caused while work takes place. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190.
The County Council has made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
