NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic
Regulation Act 1984 as amended by the Road Traffic
(Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 because works are being
or proposed to be executed on or near the road and the effect
will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in that length
of West Moor Link at Edenthorpe in the City of Doncaster
District as described in the Schedule to this notice on the
dates and times referred to in the said Schedule
Reason for closure: To ensure the safety of the public and the
workforce whilst continuation of works for the construction of
the new roundabout are undertaken.
NOTICE is also given that the alternative route for vehicles
affected by the Order is via West Moor Link Thorne Road
Roundabout, Thorne Road, Thorne Road Hatfield Lane
Roundabout, Armthorpe Lane, Hatfield Lane, West Moor Link
Hatfield Lane Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order will continue in force up to and including the 31st
day of October 2024 or until the works which it is proposed to
carry out in or near the said road have been completed,
whichever is the earlier.
SCHEDULE
Location
West Moor Link, Edenthorpe from its junction with West Moor
Link Thorne Road Roundabout in an easterly direction to its
junction with West Moor Link Hatfield Lane Roundabout.
Dates and Times
On or after 20:00hrs 2nd August 2024until 06:00hrs 5th
October 2024.
The closure will take place on multiple occasions between
20:00hrs and 06:00hrs. The road will reopen daily. The
works will be undertaken in phases and due to the nature of
the exact dates are subject to change.
In the event of engineering difficulties and/or adverse weather
conditions, the closure may extend beyond this date although
all closures to be completed by the 31st October 2024.

Notice is hereby given that the City of Doncaster Council
proposes to make an Order under the provisions of the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.
The effect of the Order will be to introduce a No waiting at any
time restriction on the following length of road:-
Common Lane, Tickhill
Southeast side
From a point 33 metres west of its junction with the western
kerbline of Airedale Avenue, for a distance of 40 metres in a
westerly direction.
Exceptions to the Order will permit waiting for the purpose of
picking up and setting down passengers, loading and
unloading goods and in connection with building industrial or
demolition operations, the removal of obstructions to traffic,
the maintenance of the roads and the services therein in
pursuance of statutory powers or duties, for the collection
and delivery of postal packets or if it is a vehicle being
operated by or on behalf of the South Yorkshire Safety
Camera Partnerships while carrying out roadside monitoring
or enforcement operations. The usual exceptions for disabled
persons vehicles will also apply.

The above Order made on 1st day of May 2024 was
confirmed without modification by City of Doncaster Council
on the 24th day of July 2024. The effect of the Order will
modify the definitive map and statement for the area by
adding to them the footpath from Tickhill Road at the northwestern corner of Menagerie Wood at grid reference SK 6448
9312 and proceeding in a generally south-easterly direction
through the wood to the bend on Park Road close to the
junction with Westwood Road at grid reference SK
6463 9295.
A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be

The Order took effect on the day it was confirmed, but any
person aggrieved by the Order and who wishes to question its
validity on the grounds that it is not within the powers of
Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or that
any requirements of Schedule 15 of that Act have not been
complied with in relation to it, may within 42 days from the
date of this notice, make application to the High Court.
