Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 25 July 2024 made the following temporary traffic regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE 1:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STATION ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1984)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following length of road to allow Network Rail to carryout inspections and renew track at the level crossing:
Station Road, Woburn Sands between Cranfield Road and Summerlin Drive.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Newport Road, A421, Bedford Road, Salford Road, A507, A4012, Turnpike Road and Crawley Road (and vice versa).
The above closure be in effect between the hours of 23:00pm on 27 July and 06:00am on 29 July 2024 or until the said works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.
PUBLIC NOTICE 2:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 102 NEW BRADWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1996)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles and pedestrians from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following parts of footpaths to allow Milton Keynes Council to carry out bridge works:
Footpath 102, New Bradwell from its junction with number 13 Bridge Street for approximately 100 meters.
Whilst the above length of footpath is closed the alternative route will be via the Church Street, Bounty Street, Redway NB01 New Bradwell, Redway NB02 New Bradwell, Redway BV02 Bradville, Nightingale Crescent (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect between 29 July 2024 and 30 August 2024 (24 hours of every day).
PUBLIC NOTICE 3:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (LOVATT DRIVE AND AVON GROVE, BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1985)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow National Grid to undertake substation works with the use of a crane:
Lovatt Drive, Bletchley its entire length.
Avon Grove, Bletchley between Tattenhoe Lane and Thames Close.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative route will be via Tattenhoe Lane, Whaddon Way and Derwent Drive (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect on 30 July 2024, between the hours of 09:30am and 16:30pm.
PUBLIC NOTICE 4:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (CRANFIELD ROAD (PART), WOBURN SANDS) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2020)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow National Grid to undertake substation works:
Cranfield Road, Woburn Sands between Ridgeway and Crow Lane.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative route will be via Lower End Road and Newport Road (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect between 31 July and 13 August 2024 (24 hours of every day).
PUBLIC NOTICE 5:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS IN MILTON KEYNES) (MILTON KEYNES BOWL CONCERTS 2024) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-1993)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit and restrict vehicles along the following lengths of road and bridleways during concert events at the MK National Bowl in Milton Keynes:
The following restrictions will be in effect on the dates and times shown below and when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs:
Road Closures from 09:00am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 09:00am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Watling Street (V4) between Elfield Park Roundabout and Knowlhill Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) between Leadenhall Roundabout and Furzton Roundabout.
Grafton Street (V6) between Leadenhall Roundabout and Bleak Hall Roundabout.
Road Closures from 10:00am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 10:00am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Davy Avenue, Knowlhill between Harrison Close and Chaffron Way (H7).
Favell Drive, Elfield Park between Barleycroft and Watling Street (V4).
Bridleway Closure from 00:01am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 00:01am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Bridleway 32, Loughton between Chaffron Way (H7) and Spring Rose Way, Loughton.
Temporarily 30mph speed limit from 00:01am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 00:01am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Watling Street (V4) between Enfield Park Roundabout and Knowlhill Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) between Leadenhall Roundabout and Furzton Roundabout.
One-way system from 00:01am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 00:01am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall its entire length.
Temporary no waiting at any time restrictions from 00:01am on 03 August to 03:00am on 04 August 2024 and from 00:01am on 04 August to 03:00am on 05 August 2024:
Watling Street (V4) between Knowlhill Roundabout and Elfield Park Roundabout.
Chaffron Way (H7) between Fulmer Street (V3) and Grafton Street (V6).
Grafton Street (V6) between Leadenhall Roundabout and South Grafton Roundabout.
Chesney Wold, Bleak Hall its entire Length.
Summerson Road, Bleak Hall its entire Length.
Davy Avenue, Knowlhill its entire Length.
Roebuck Way, Knowlhill its entire Length.
Kelvin Drive, Knowlhill its entire Length.
Harrison Close, Knowlhill its entire Length.
Seebeck Place, Knowlhill its entire Length.
Shirwell Crescent, Furzton its entire Length.
Parkside, Furzton between Standing Way (H8) and Favell Drive.
Phoenix Drive, Leadenhall [between Grafton Street (V6) and Marine Court.

PUBLIC NOTICE 6:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (NORTH ROW AND NLORTH SIXTH STREET, CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2029)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along part of North Row, Central Milton Keynes in order to allow National Grid to carryout cable installation works:
North Row, Central Milton Keynes – From its junction with YMCA for approximately 150 meters in a westerly direction.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Witan gate, Silbury Boulevard (and vice versa).
North Sixth Street, Central Milton Keynes – from its junction with North Row for approximately 50 meters in a Southerly direction.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Witan gate, Silbury Boulevard (and vice versa).
The above closures will be in effect between 05 August and 20 September 2024 (24 Hours of every day).
PUBLIC NOTICE 7:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (STOCKWELL LANE (PART), WAVENDON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2011)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow SGN to undertake essential gas works:
Stockwell Lane, Wavendon – from its junction with Walton Road for 80 meters in a northerly direction.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative route will be via Walton Road, Newport Road and Dankworth Way (and vice versa).
The above closure will be in effect between 05 and 09 August 2024 (24 hours of every day).
PUBLIC NOTICE 8:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DENBIGH ROAD (PART), BLETCHLEY) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2021)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow National Grid to undertake excavation works:
Denbigh Road, Bletchley (northbound carriageway only) between First Avenue and Second Avenue.
Whilst the above length of road is closed the alternative route will be via Saxon Street and Bletcham Way.
The above closure will be in effect between 05 and 30 August 2024 (24 hours of every day).
PUBLIC NOTICE 9:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (PORTWAY V3 TO V4, CROWNHILL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2024 (Reference: TTRO-2019)
The effect of the above temporary traffic regulation Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along the following lengths of road to allow Virgin Media to undertake excavations in the verge to install new equipment:
Portway (H5) between Knapp Gate and Loughton Roundabout.
Whilst the above lengths of road are closed the alternative route will be via Fulmer Street, Danstead Way and Watling Street.
The above closure will be in effect between 05 and 06 August 2024 (between the hours of 09:00am and 18:00pm each day).

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL) (VARIOUS ROADS, OLD WOLVERTON) (PROHIBTION OF WAITING) ORDER 2023) VARIATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23 July 2024 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (reference: TRO-387).
The effect of the above made Order will be to introduce new no waiting at any time restrictions along part of Bridgeturn Avenue in Old Wolverton.
The made Order will take effect on 26 July 2024.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, REDMOOR) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND LIMITED WAITING PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23 July 2024 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (reference: TRO-393).
The effect of the above made Order will be to consolidate the existing no waiting at any time restrictions in Redmoor and introduce additional no waiting at any time restrictions and 3-hours and 24 hours limited waiting parking places along parts of Merton Drive and Wimblington Drive.
The made Order will take effect on 26 July 2024.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23 July 2024 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (reference: TRO-406).
The general effect of the above made Order will be to introduce no waiting at time restrictions along parts of Alston Drive in Bradwell Abbey.
The made Order will take effect on 26 July 2024.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES) (ON-STREET STANDARD TARIFF PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2020) VARIATION ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council has on 23 July 2024 made the above Traffic Regulation Order, under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (reference: TRO-407).
The general effect of the above proposed Orders will be to alter the standard tariff parking restrictions to introduce additional disabled persons parking place and an ambulance parking place on North Row in Central Milton Keynes, between North Ninth Street and Secklow Gate.
The made Order will take effect on 26 July 2024.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the made Order or any provision contained in the Orders on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or any Instrument made under the Act has not been compiled with may, within six weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply to the High Court for that purpose.
