PROPOSED 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT - BOROUGH WIDE PHASES 3, 4 AND S

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Newham proposes to make the Newham (20 mph Speed Limit) (No.*) Order 202* under Section 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose a maximum 20 mph speed limit on motor vehicles proceeding in the roads and lengths of road that fall within the boundary of the London Borough of Newham as detailed in the Schedule to this Notice.

3. Documents giving more detailed particulars of the proposed Order can be made available during normal office hours on Monday to Friday by telephoning 020 3373 6415, by emailing traffic.orders@newham.gov.uk, or inspected (by prior appointment - please telephone the above number) at Newham Dockside, 1000 Dockside Road E16 2QU, until six weeks after the date on which the Order is made or until the proposed Order is withdrawn, as appropriate.

5. Any objections or other representations relating to the proposed Order must be made in writing and received by 14 August 2024. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.
