What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD

(BEDFORD LANE (PART), SUNNINGDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2024

The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead has made an Order, the effect of which will be to:

Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Bedford Lane, Sunningdale between the boundaries of property known as "Palmyra".

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the Order is via Bedford Lane, Church Road, B383 Station Road, B383 Broomhall Lane, A30 London Road and Bedford Lane.

The purpose of the Order is to facilitate works on the said road, namely new sewer connection and there is the likelihood of danger to the public. The Order shall be in operation from 08.00 hours on Monday 30 July until 16.00 hours on Friday 2 August 2024. The road will be closed when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
