What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – UPTON LANE, NURSLING, TEST VALLEY

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Tra ic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.

ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Upton Lane between its junction with Romsey Road and its junction with a point approximately 130 metres upwards on Upton Lane from its junction with Romsey Road

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Upton Lane, Station Road, Weston Lane, Andes Road, Nursling Interchange, Brownhill Way, Lords Hill Roundabout, Romsey Road A3057

DURATION OF ORDER: from 5th August 2024 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than

26 days and in operation 24 hours a day).

The road closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Freedom Group to carry out ductwork installation.

Freedom Group will provide reasonable facilities to allow access to adjacent premises and provide notice to those directly a ected while the work is being carried out.
