Woolavington Road, Temporary Road Closure Due To Water Works

What is happening?

Somerset Council Parishes of Puriton and Woolavington Temporary Closure of Woolavington Road

Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, have made an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along Woolavington Road - from the junction with East Approach Road, eastwards for a total distance of 234 metres. This Order will enable Wessex Water to service a pressure reducing valve. The Order becomes effective on 23rd July 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months.

The works are expected to commence on 29th July 2024 and last until 2nd August 2024 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 5 days.
