What is happening?
MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC139504075: The City of Manchester (Boyle Street, Smedley Street,Cheetham hill Road,Cheetham Ward)(Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) (Temporary One Way Traffic) Orders 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Boyle Street,Smedley Street,Cheetham hill Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be:Signed Locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Resurfacing works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 27th July 2024 to 6th August 2024. The order shall come into operation on 27th July 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
