High Street, Temporary Road Closure Due To Culvert Repair Works

What is happening?

Notice of Intention

NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order: C1093 High Street, Weobley, Herefordshire, Temporary Road Closure Order, 2024 - to temporarily prohibit the use by vehicles on the C1093 High Street, from the B4230 to Portland Street. Grid Ref: 340224/251499.

The alternative route for those affected by the proposal is via the B4230 onto Bell Street onto Broad Street, and vice versa.

The said closure is required due to culvert repair works and the likelihood of danger to the public whilst the works are taking place. The said closure will come into force on 21st of August 2024 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State) but the works are expected to be completed within 22 Days.
