The reason for the said closure is for drainage and anti - skid works.

The reason for the said closure is for bridge maintenance works.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND RESTRICTION OF VARIOUS ROADS AND FOOTWAYS (UP HATHERLEY PARISH) CHELTENHAM BOROUGH

Gloucestershire County Council, as traffic authority, has made an Order under the relevant provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to temporarily close and restrict part of the lengths of roads, and at the times, as detailed in the Schedule below (“the Roads”).

SCHEDULE

There will be no waiting permitted of vehicles throughout the duration of the intended works.

The reason for the closures and restrictions is for works to Arle Court Transport Hub (ACTH) Highway Works Phase 3

The Roads are expected to be closed and restricted during various times on a rolling programme, commencing 29th July 2024 where the presence of approved signage will indicate whether the closures and restrictions are in force. Further advance warnings of dates/times will be displayed on site prior to the closures and restrictions taking effect. This Order can permit the closure and restriction of the roads in any order, or simultaneously as required. It is anticipated all works will be completed by 29th January 2024.

TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH ZGL 80 AND CLASS 6 FOOTBRIDGE (PODSMEAD AND TUFFLEY WARDS) GLOUCESTER CITY

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an Order to close temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 (as amended) Public Footpath ZGL 80 and Class 6 Footbridge in the Wards of Podsmead and Tuffley, Gloucester City from its junction with Podsmead Road in a generally southerly direction for approximately 100 metres to its junction with Longney Road.

The closure is necessary to safeguard the public whilst maintenance works to a bridge take place.

The Order will come into force on the 22nd July 2024. The said Public Footpath and Footbridge will close on that day, and it is anticipated that works will be completed by 16th August 2024. However, the Order may remain in force for up to six months. After this period, if the closure is still required it will be necessary to apply to the Secretary of State for an extension of time.

PUBLIC NOTICE GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL (NO ENTRY EXCEPT BUSES AND PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURNS) (ARLE COURT TRANSPORT HUB - GROVEFIELD WAY AND A40 GOLDEN VALLEY WESTBOUND) (CHELTENHAM BOROUGH) ORDER 2024

NOTICE is hereby given that Gloucestershire County Council has made an order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which is to:

1. Prohibit vehicles, except buses and public service vehicles, entering the new Arle Court Passenger Terminal from both the A40 Golden Valley Westbound and Grovefield Way, Cheltenham; and

2. Prohibit vehicles from making a right hand manoeuvre out of the new Arle Court Passenger Terminal and new West Arle Court Car Park onto Grovefield Way, Cheltenham.

The order affects roads in the Benhall and The Reddings Ward within the Borough of Cheltenham in the County of Gloucestershire.

This Order shall come into operation on the 23rd July 2024 and may be cited as the “Gloucestershire County Council (No Entry Except Buses And Prohibition Of Right Turns) (Arle Court Transport Hub - Grovefield Way And A40 Golden Valley Westbound) (Cheltenham Borough) Order 2024”.
