What is happening?
THE KINGSTON UPON HULL CITY COUNCIL
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDERS 2024
ORCHARD PARK ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Orchard Park Road, from Ellerburn Avenue to Hall Road (eastern junction), Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during essential carriageway resurfacing works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed on the days.
Access will be maintained for emergency services.
The Order will take effect on 19th August 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed by 30th August 2024.

ANLABY PARK ROAD SOUTH (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of S.14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an Order.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along:-
Anlaby Park Road South, from the junction of Tilbury Road to house number 174 heading northward, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during reconstruction works.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will take effect on 12th August 2024, and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 56 days.

WESTBOURNE STREET (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with a vehicle from proceeding along Westbourne Street, outside number 105, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during works to supply new electricity to kiosk.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 6th August 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed in a period of approximately 6 days.

GIBRALTAR ROAD (PART)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council by virtue of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has made an Order.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any person with or without a vehicle from proceeding along Gibraltar Road, approximately 30m west of Roebank Roundabout, Kingston upon Hull.
The purpose of the Order is to ensure the safety of the public and operatives during conduct works on a telecoms mast.
The alternative route for vehicles will be signed.
The Order will come into effect 5th August 2024 and may continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
It is anticipated, however, that the works will be completed between 8pm on 5th August 2024 to 5am on 6th August 2024.

BLOOMFIELD AVENUE (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Kingston upon Hull City Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2(1) to (3), 4(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and in pursuance of powers granted by the Secretary of State under Section 74 and Part 2 of Schedule 8 and under Paragraph 8 of Schedule 9 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.
The effect of the Order will be to install new double yellow lines on the east and south side of Bloomfield Avenue, from a point 7 metres south of the junction with Primrose Drive to a point in line with the boundary of properties 63/65 Bloomfield Avenue.
The purpose of the Order is considered necessary to improve visibility at the bend and to facilitate traffic flow.
A copy of the draft Order, the relevant plan and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order are available for inspection during normal office hours at the General Reception Area, The Kingston upon Hull City Council, The Guildhall, Kingston upon Hull, HU1 2AA.
