What is happening?

THE COUNCIL HAS MADE
(Loosley Hill, Loosley Row) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Loosley Hill for approx. 377M. Alternative route: Little Lane, Wycombe Road, Lee Road, Woodway, Lower Road and vice versa. The closure is required whilst desilting, blockage clearance, cabling and any other additional civils works commence on 29 July 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 29 July 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Whielden St, Amersham) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Whielden St for approx. 311M. Alternative route: Amersham Bypass, Gore Hill, The Broadway, Whielden St and vice versa. The closure is required whilst HS2 crane removal works commence on 10 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 10 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.
(Various Roads, South Bucks and Chiltern) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in the roads below. Slough Rd, Iver, Oxford Rd, Denham, Marsh Ln, Taplow, Hedgerley Ln, Lakes Ln, Beaconsfield, Oval Way, Chalfont St Peter, Packhorse Rd, Gerrards Cross, The Green, Chalfont St Giles, Station Rd, Beaconsfield, Missenden Rd, Chesham, Bradenham Rd, West Wycombe, Beaconsfield Rd, Farnham Common, Amersham Hill, High Wycombe. The closure is required whilst commence plane and patching works on 22 July 2024. PLEASE NOTE: The full duration of this multi-order is to allow coordination of a number of works, and flexibility given their weather dependant nature. The actual times that each road will be closed for will be much less than this and could be either day or night works only. The full details will be publicised on one.network when confirmed, with signs on the affected road erected two weeks before the closure. The proposed Order will come into operation on 27 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration.

THE COUNCIL INTENDS TO MAKE
(Jubilee Rd, High Wycombe) (Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic) Order, 2024 which will temporarily prohibit any vehicle from proceeding, except for access, in Jubilee Rd for approx. 124M. Alternative route: Oakridge Rd, Green St, Jubilee Rd and vice versa. The closure is required whilst pole replacement commences on 8 August 2024. The proposed Order will come into operation on 8 August 2024, as signed, with maximum 18 months duration. (Roughwood Lane, Chalfont ST Giles) Experimental Traffic Movement Order 2024. Introduction of prohibition to motor vehicles in Roughwood Lane except for access to off street premises. From 0800 hours on Monday 29 July 2024 for a period of 18 months. All objections and other representations relating to the order must be made in writing and that all objections must specify the grounds on which they are made. Objections should be made by 29 January 2025 by writing to Dave Roberts, Head of Highways at the address below. If any person wishes to question the validity of the order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with, that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
