Finchfield Lane - Temporary Prohibition of Traffic

THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL (FINCHFIELD LANE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2024 

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City Council have made an Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Finchfield Lane in both directions from its junction with Trysull Road/Coalway Road/Langley Road to its junction with Woodland Road. The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will be undertaken from 22 July 2024 until 16 August 2024. The diversion route is: Trysull Road, Broad Lane, Finchfield Road West, Castlecroft Road and vice versa. The Order is required to facilitate a gas mains replacement scheme by Cadent.
