Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.
MAIDSTONE AREA
B2010 Yalding Hill, Yalding, ME15 0PH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of B2010 Yalding Hill, Yalding, on or after 16th August 2024 for up to 6 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from the junctions of Small Profits to Kenward Road, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any northbound through traffic is via B2010 Yalding Hill, B2010 High Street, B2162 Benover Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2015 Bow Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, A20 Terrace Road, A20 London Road, A20 The Broadway, A229 The Broadway, A229 St Peters Bridge, A229 Fairmeadow, A229 Bishops Way, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Smiths Hill.
The alternative route for any southbound through traffic is via B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Lower Road, B2010 Dean Street, B2010 Farleigh Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, Old Tovil Road, A229 Hayle Road, A229 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Bishops Way, A229 The Broadway, A20 Tonbridge Road, A26 Tonbridge Road, B2015 Bow Road, B2015 Maidstone Road, B2162 Hampstead Lane, B2162 Benover Road, B2010 High Street, B2010 Yalding Hill.
Green Hill, Otham, ME15 8SL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pot hole repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Green Hill, Otham, on or after 31st July 2024 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Caring Road and Stoneacre Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Caring Road, Back Street, Avery Lane, Honey Lane, Simmonds Lane, Otham Street and vice versa.
Haviker Street, Collier Street, TN12 9RE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow fire hydrant replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Haviker Street, Collier Street, on or after 29th July 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Green Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Haviker Street, Collier Street, Green Lane and vice versa.
Lenham Road, Platts Heath (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lenham Road, Platts Heath, on or after 16th August 2024 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Runham Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Sandway Road, East Street, A20 Ashford Road, Chegworth Road, Lenham Road and vice versa.
Lenham Road & Ulcombe Hill, Ulcombe, ME17 1DJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Lenham Road & Ulcombe Road, Ulcombe, on or after 29th July 2024 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Chegworth Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Lenham Road, Chartway Street, A274 North Street, A274 Sutton Valence Hill, A274 Headcorn Road, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Mill Bank, Kings Road, Lenham Road, Headcorn Road, Liverton Hill, Headcorn Road, Lenham Road and vice versa.
Richmond Way, Maidstone, ME15 6DG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Richmond Way, Maidstone, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between No. 1 and 9. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Richmond Way, Regent Drive, Broadoak Avenue and vice versa.
Rigshill Road, Otterden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow frame and cover repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Rigshill Road, Otterden, on or after 29th July 2024 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Stalisfield Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Stalisfield Road, Gravel Hill, Stalisfield Road, School Lane, Rigshill Road and vice versa.
Summerhill, Headcorn (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow water main replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Summerhill, Headcorn, on or after 15th August 2024 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Summer Hill House. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Summerhill, Moat Road, A274 Mill Bank, A274 Maidstone Road, A274 Headcorn Road, New Barn Road, Four Oaks Road, Plumtree Road, Four Oaks Road Summerhill and vice versa.
Sutton Road Access Road, Maidstone, ME15 9BN (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow electric works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Sutton Road Access Road, Maidstone, on or after 13th August 2024 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside 48 on the access road section. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Nottingham Avenue, A274 Sutton Road, Sutton Road and vice versa.
Straw Mill Hill & Stockett Lane, Tovil, ME15 6AD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new sewer connection to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Straw Mill Hill & Stockett Lane, Tovil, on or after 29th July 2024 for up to 20 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction of Cave Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic approaching on Cave Hill is via Cave Hill, Hayle Mill Road, Bockingford Lane, Stockett Lane.
The alternative route for any northbound through traffic approaching on Stockett Lane is via Stockett Lane, B2163 Heath Road, A229 Linton Road, A229 Loose Road, A229 Sheals Crescent, Old Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 Tovil Hill, Straw Mill Hill.
The alternative route for any southbound through traffic approaching on Straw Mill Hill is via Straw Mill Hill, B2010 Tovil Hill, B2010 Tovil Road, B2010 College Road, A229 Mill Street, A229 Palace Avenue, A229 Lower Stone Street, A229 Upper Stone Street, A229 Loose Road, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, Stockett Lane.
Well Street, Loose, ME15 0QF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow pole replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Well Street, Loose, on or after 1st August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Valley Field Farm and The Brambles, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Well Street, High Banks, Old Loose Hill, A229 Linton Road, B2163 Heath Road, Stockett Lane, Forstal Lane and vice versa.
West Street, Hunton, ME15 0RY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2024
To allow new connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of West Street, Hunton, on or after 12th August 2024 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Smithfield House, between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via West Street, Hunton Hill, Upper Hunton Hill, B2163 Heath Road, B2163 Ewell Lane, B2010 Smiths Hill, B2010 Yalding Hill, Vicarage Road, West Street and vice versa.
