Barrhead - Temporary Road Closures due to Resurfacing Works.

Temporary Restriction To Use Of Road
Order 2024
On the 18 July 2024 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on Centre Way, Northpark Avenue & Southpark Avenue, Barrhead, in order to facilitate the essential carriageway resurfacing works on or near the road, scheduled to be carried from Monday 19th August to Friday 30th August 2024.
The Order authorises the closure of the road for the duration of the works.
Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be maintained at all times.
Alternative Route:
Church Road – Main Street – Cross Arthurlie Street – Carlibar Road – Glen Street and vice versa.East Renfrewshire Council
