MANCHESTER CITY COUNCIL TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council has made the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC000139503123: The City of Manchester (Various Walks, Ancoats & Beswick Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian & Vehicular Traffic) Order 2024 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Digby Walk, Banner Walk, Limetree Walk, Woodvale Walk, Arrowsmith Walk, Quarry Walk, Leghorn Walk, Atlantic Walk and Yeoman Walk. The alternative routes for pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be: Signed locally. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate the installation of new fibre network. It is expected that the works will be in progress from the 5th August 2024 to the 14th August 2024. The order shall come into operation on the 5th August 2024 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Kevin Gillham.
