TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDERS
Derby City Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit use of the roads by traffic.
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF LEFT TURN ORDERS ON DERBY ROAD, DERBY
WHEN: 22 July 2024 to 11 September 2024
WHERE: Derby Road, suspension of right turn into and out of Asda
REASON: Construction work
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – Circumnavigate Spondon Roundabout – Derby Road. And Derby Road – Circumnavigate roundabout at Derby Road/Raynesway/Acorn Way junction – Derby Road
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON CHADDESDEN LANE, DERBY
WHEN: 21 July 2024 to 16 August 2024
WHERE: Chaddesden Lane at its junction with Nottingham Road
REASON: Construction work
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Nottingham Road – Chaddesden Park Road – Max Road – Wood Road – Chaddesden Lane and the same in the opposite direction

WHEN: 12 August 2024 to 23 August 2024
WHERE: Footpath on the south side of A6 Pride Parkway between Station Approach Viaduct and Roundhouse Road (Derby College) A distance of approximately 350 metres.
REASON: Electrical works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Footpath on the north side of A6 Pride Parkway between Station Approach Viaduct and Riverside Road (David Lloyd Health Club)
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON STENSON ROAD DERBY
WHEN: 17 August 2024 (22:00 to 23:59 only)
WHERE: Stenson Road, from approximately 118 metres south of its junction with Nicola Gardens for a distance of approximately 30 metres in a southerly direction
REASON: Bridge works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Stenson Road – Goodsmoor Road – Wordsworth Avenue – Sinfin Lane – Grampian Way – Stenson Road and the same in the opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON RAYNESWAY DERBY
WHEN: 28 August 2024 to 29 August 2024 (20:00 to 06:00 only)
WHERE: Raynesway, from the Derby Road/Acorn Way/Raynesway Roundabout to A5111 Raynesway
REASON: Horticultural works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Derby Road – Spondon Roundabout – A52 Eastbound – Victoria Avenue – A52 Westbound – Raynesway Southbound And Raynesway Northbound – A52 Westbound – Circumnavigate The Pentagon – A52 Eastbound – Derby Road
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON FIELD LANE DERBY
WHEN: 19 August 2024 to 21 August 2024
WHERE: Field Lane, outside number 14
REASON: Gas works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Field Lane – Curzon Road – Rupert Road – Wood Road – Field Lane and the same in its opposite direction
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER ON MOORLAND ROAD DERBY
WHEN: 19 August 2024 to 08 September 2024
WHERE: Moorland Road, at its junction with Station Road
REASON: Electric works
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Station Road – East Avenue – Chestnut Avenue – Moorland Road and the same in the opposite direction
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will be re-opened as soon as the work is finished.
