Neasham Road, Temporary Prohibition & Clearway Due To Surfacing Works
What is happening?
DARLINGTON BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC AND CLEARWAY) ORDER 2024 NEASHAM ROAD, DARLINGTON
Darlington Borough Council has made an Order under the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce:
1. no stopping at any time (clearway); and
2. the prohibition of the driving of vehicles on the following road, to allow road surfacing works:
NEASHAM ROAD
From the south side of the roundabout at Geneva Road southwards to the north side of its junction with Brankin Road.
An alternative route will be signed via A66, Yarm Road and vice versa. The maximum duration of the temporary restrictions under this Order is 18 months commencing from 24th July 2024, it is anticipated that the restrictions will be effective between 0730 hours and 1630 hours for 5 days.
