What is happening?

Mae Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Wrecsam wedi gwneud GORCHYMYN (GWAHARDD TRAFFIG TRWOPP) PROS PRO dan Adran 14(1) Dsddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 a fydd yn weithredol o 22/07/2024 yn gwahardd unrhyw gerbyd rhag defnyddio'r rhan honno o Allt yr Ysgol, Gresffordd o'i chyffordd i gyfeiriad y de-orllewin 3'r B5373 Lfin y Clapwyr i'r gyffordd a"r Stryd Fawr, i gyfeiriad y gogledd-ddwyrain am bellter o 122 metr i alluogi Wales and West Utilities i osod prrf bibell nwy newydd yn y briffordd. Bydd y ffordd amgen ar gyfer cerbydau a effeithir gan gau'r ffordd ar hyd y B5373 L6n y Clapwyr, B4554 Ffordd Caer, a'r Stryd Fawr a bydd arwyddion i ddangos hyn. Bydd y ffordd ar agor i gerddwyr drwy gydol y cyfnod cau Mae disgwyl i'r gwaharddiad bara am 4 wythnos (17/08/2024), neu lai os bydd y gwarth wedi'i gwblhau'n gyrrt, ond dim mwy na 18 mis.

Wrexham County Borough Council has made a TEMPORARY (PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORPER under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 effective from 22/07/2024 prohibiting any vehicle from using that length of School Hill, Gresford from its south-westerly junction with the B5373 Clappers Lane to its junction with High Street, in a north-easterly direction for a distance of 122 meters to enable Wales and West Utilities to replace the gas mains in the carriageway

The alternative route for vehicles affected by the closure is via B5373 Clappers Lane, B4554 Chester Road, and High Street, which will be signposted accordingly. Pedestrian access will be maintained throughout the period of closure.

The prohibition is expected to last for 4 weeks (17/08/2024), or until completion of the works if earlier, with a maximum duration of 18 months.
