(Ferry Road, Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ferry Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 75m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2024 for 5 nights (22:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (KLZ17FSS2-29-12-120842-02 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while rail bridge repair works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Ferry Road, High Street, High Road, London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, Canvey Way, Canvey Way Roundabout, Canvey Road – B1014, Ferry Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(St Clements Road, Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Clements Road, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with London Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a southerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 5th August 2024 for 1 night (19:00 - 23:00), or where stated on a valid permit (AD037R063799311/1 – Anglian Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while replace inspection chamber covers works are undertaken by Anglian Water.
An alternative route is available via London Road, Stanway Road, Lea Road and vice versa (with access only into St Clements Road).
The Order will come into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of St Michaels Road, Hadleigh in the Borough of Castle Point, from both of its junctions with Bramble Road a distance of approximately 735m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 7th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EP02231011001 – Triplex Industrial Contractors). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while vegetation clearance works are undertaken by Triplex Industrial Contractors.
An alternative route is available via Arterial Road, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road from A127 To A129 Westbound, Rayleigh Road, Daws Heath Road, Bramble Road, Bramble Road, Daws Heath Road, Rayleigh Road, Rayleigh Weir Roundabout, Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127 Eastbound, Arterial Road, Prince Avenue, Prince Avenue And Nestuda Way Roundabout, Prince Avenue and Arterial Road.
The Order will come into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Jotmans Lane, South Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Jotmans Lane, South Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with High Road to its junction with Appleton Road a distance of approximately 70m. The closure is scheduled to commence on 14th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M111784 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via High Road, Benfleet Park Road, Danesfield, Appleton Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Kennel Lane, Great Burstead and South Green)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Kennel Lane, Great Burstead and South Green in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 240m south west of its junction with Hunters Avenue for a distance of approximately 35m in a south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 13th August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (EN014M104052 – Essex And Suffolk Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while frame and cover replacement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.
An alternative route is available via Kennel Lane, Church Street, Noak Hill Road, Noak Hill Road Roundabout and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 25th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Bardfield, Basildon)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bardfield, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from a point approximately 125m north east of its junction with Clay Hill Road for a distance of approximately 10m in a north easterly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 11 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC337HDL-WDGKMK6J-ABS – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while carriageway repair works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Bardfield, Kent View Road, Byfletts, Clay Hill Road and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Canewdon Road, Ashingdon/Canewdon & Lark Hill Road, Canewdon)
(Temporary Suspension of 7.5T Weight Restriction) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Brays Lane, Rochford in the District of Rochford, from its junction with Hyde Wood Lane for a distance of approximately 275m in a south westerly direction.
2. To temporarily suspend the 7.5 tonne weight restriction in those lengths of Canewdon Road, Ashingdon/Canewdon & Lark Hill Road, Canewdon from its junction with Larkhill Road/Hyde Wood Lane westwards to its junction with Ashingdon Road and from its junction with Anchor Lane westwards to its junction with Canewdon Road/Hyde Wood Lane as cited in "Essex County Council (Various Roads, Ashingdon and Canewdon) (Weight Restriction) Order 1991" for the duration of the above closure only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force. The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2024 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (BC008WFGKD3CS – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole testing works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Brays Lane, Ashingdon Road, Canewdon Road, Lark Hill Road, Scotts Hall Road, Apton Hall Road, Brays Lane and vice versa.
The Order came into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Nethermayne, Basildon)
(Temporary Introduction of 30 MPH Speed Limit) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a 30mph speed limit in that length of Nethermayne, Basildon in the Borough of Basildon, from both of its junctions with Fobbing Farm Roundabout to both of its junctions with Five Bells Roundabout North a distance of approximately 1305m. The speed restriction is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 12 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EP022310110301 – Natta Building Company Ltd).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The speed restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while remedial works are undertaken by Natta Building Company Ltd.
The Order came into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127 Westbound, Benfleet)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Rayleigh Weir Slip Road From A129 To A127 Westbound, Benfleet in the Borough of Castle Point, from its junction with Rayleigh Weir Roundabout for a distance of approximately 410m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ in the above length of road for the duration of the closure only.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The closure/restriction is scheduled to commence on 1st August 2024 for 23 nights (21:00 - 05:00), or where stated on a valid permit (EP201EH2365118 – Essex County Council). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure/restriction is required for the safety of the public and workforce while box beam replacement works are undertaken by Essex County Council.
An alternative route is available via Rayleigh Road, London Road, Kiln Road, Bread And Cheese Hill, London Road, Sadlers Farm Roundabout, Pitsea Bypass, Canvey Way, A130 New Bypass.
The Order came into effect on 11th July 2024 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.
(Rectory Road, Hawkwell/Rochford)
(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Rectory Road, Hawkwell/Rochford in the District of Rochford, from a point approximately 110m north west of the junction with Oaklands Mews, for a distance of approximately 60m in a north westerly then south westerly direction. The closure is scheduled to commence on 29th July 2024 for 2 nights, (22:00 - 06:00) or where stated on a valid permit (KL701SSV-37-40-290724 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bridge examination works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.
An alternative route is available via Rectory Road, B1013, Hall Road, Ashingdon Road and vice versa.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway)
(No.8) Order 2024
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close those lengths of road in the Borough of Castle Point as specified in the schedule to this Order.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of roads for the duration of the closure to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting restriction will be in force.
"The Essex County Council (Castle Point Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above lengths of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 11th July 2024 exact dates will be specified on One.network. The roads will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public. Access will be maintained for emergency services. Diversion routes will be signed at each location and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.
