B3135 The Cliffs, Cheddar in the Parish of Cheddar (Temporary Traffic Restrictions) Order 2024 Filming

Somerset Council made the above Order in exercise of the provisions of Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as previously advertised on the 4th day of July 2024 to introduce temporary traffic restrictions on the road specified in the Schedule to this Order. The Order will be made to facilitate Filming and is in the interest of public safety. All closures will be signed and staffed and will remain in force only for as long as is necessary. The Order shall come into operation on the 18th day of July 2024 and will remain in force for eighteen months. Exemptions are provided in the Order for emergency vehicles and any vehicles associated with the event.

Vehicles, Cyclists and Pedestrians between the hours of 0001 on Monday 22nd July 2024 until 2359 on Friday 26th July 2024

B3135 The Cliffs, Cheddar – From a point 560 metres north east from its junction with Cufic Lane in an easterly direction for a distance of 1350 metres.

Statement of reasons for making the Order
a) because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road; b) because of the likelihood of danger to the public, or of serious damage to the road, which is not attributable to such works.
