What is happening?

CHESHIRE WEST AND CHESTER BOROUGH COUNCIL ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TTRO7953 Cotebrook Road in Northwich Witton Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intends to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Northwich Witton Ward to enable Installation of new service cable works to be carried out by Scottish Power.

Cotebrook Road - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 12th August 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 9 Days to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Cotebrook Road, Parkfield Road, Malpas Road

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7930 John Brunner Crescent in Northwich Winnington & Castle Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Northwich Winnington & Castle Ward to enable excavation to replace 2 x link boxes works to be carried out by Scottish Power.

John Brunner Crescent - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 22nd July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 2 weeks to complete.

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO7931 Abbey Lane Hartford in Hartford & Greenbank Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Hartford & Greenbank Ward to enable excavation and reinstatement of joint bays works to be carried out by Scottish Power.

Abbey Lane - Nothing in the Order shall prevent driving upon the said lengths of road of any vehicle which is being used for the conveyance of persons goods or merchandise to or from any premises situate on or adjacent to the lengths of road or in connection with agriculture building construction works of repair and the like or use in an emergency of vehicles for fire brigade ambulance or police purposes. A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use the alternative routes. The Order will come into force on 24th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 1 week to complete.

Alternative routes for through traffic - Traffic should proceed via Chester Road, School Lane, The Green, Riddings

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC TRO17443 Norley Road - Footway Reconstruction In Weaver & Cuddington Ward

Notice is hereby given pursuant to the provisions of Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council intend to make an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit/restrict traffic on the following length of road in Weaver & Cuddington Ward to enable Footway Reconstruction works to be carried out by Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Norley Road: FULL ROAD CLOSURE (from its junction with A556 Round Tower Lodge to just beyond Hadrian Way) 08:00 - 18:00hrs, reduced to a one way closure over night and weekends

The Order will come into force on 24th July 2024 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding eighteen months or until the works which it is proposed to carry out have been completed whichever is the earlier. It is anticipated that the works will take approximately 3 weeks to complete.

NOTICE OF MAKING

Bradburns Lane, Hartford (20mph Speed Limit) Order 2024

Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire West and Chester Borough Council made the above Traffic Regulation Order in accordance with the provisions of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which came into force on 12th July 2024

The effect of the order will be to prohibit any vehicle from exceeding 20mph on the lengths of road in the schedule. The new limit is set out in the schedule below.

SCHEDULE - 20 MPH SPEED LIMIT Bradburns Lane, Hartford - From its junction with A559 Chester Road to its junction with Beach Road.

If you wish to question the validity of the order or any of its provisions on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instruments made under it has not been complied with, you may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the order is made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
