Christchurch, Temporary Traffic Restrictions Due To Asphalt Surfacing Works

What is happening?

BOURNEMOUTH, CHRISTCHURCH AND POOLE COUNCIL ASPHALT SURFACING - STONY LANE, CHRISTCHURCH AND TURBARY PARK AVENUE, BOURNEMOUTH TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT: Road closed to all vehicles and no parking - no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time.

WHERE:

  • Turbary Park Avenue, Bournemouth, from the junction of Poole Lane to the junction of Kinson Road. From 2nd September 2024 until 4th September 2024

  • Stony Lane, Christchurch, from the junction of A35 Purewell Cross Roundabout to the BCP Boundary (road closure to continue to the junction with Ringwood Road, Hampshire). From 4th September 2024 until 11th September 2024

WHY: To enable Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council to carry out asphalt surfacing works on the highway.

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: Via signed routes.

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
