U9511 A193 BLYTH CYCLEWAY SCHEME BLYTH
(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Northumberland County Council intend to make an Order to prohibit the use by vehicular traffic on the following sections of roads in Blyth in the County of Northumberland.
U9511 Kingsway from its junction with Broadway heading east for a distance of 25 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 12th August 2024 until the 16th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Kingsway, William Street, Plessey Road and Broadway and vice versa.
U9511 Cypress Drive from its junction with Renwick Road heading east for a distance of 25 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 19th August 2024 until the 23rd August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Marine Terrace, Cypress Gardens, Cypress Drive and vice versa.
U9511 Princess Louise Road from its junction with Broadway Circle heading east for a distance of 30 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 27th August 2024 until the 30th August 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Broadway, Kingsway, Princess Louise Road and vice versa.
U9511 Marine Terrace from its junction with Renwick Road heading east for a distance of 25 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 2nd September 2024 until the 6th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Cypress Drive, Cypress Gardens, Marine Terrace and vice versa.
U9511 Broadway Crescent from its junction with Broadway heading east for a distance of 20 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 9th September 2024 until the 13th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Broadway, Kingsway, Jubilee Road, Broadway Crescent and vice versa.
A193 Renwick Road from its junction with Broadway Circle heading north for a distance of 35 metres.
It is expected that the road will only be closed from the 16th September 2024 until the 20th September 2024.
The alternative route for vehicular traffic will be via Renwick Road, Cowpen Road, Hodgsons Road, Regent Street, Inner Relief Road, Plessey Road and vice versa.
The Order is to be effective from the 12th August 2024 until the 12th August 2025.
The roads will be closed at all times during the periods described for each closure; however, the order will remain in place until 12th August 2025.

The closures have been requested by Northumberland County Council to install raised tables, resurfacing and civils works in the carriageway. In order to minimise future disruption, other contractors may be undertaking works throughout the duration of this Order.
