Order made: To close that part of U52039 Hillery Road from its junction with U52037 Silverdale Avenue to its junction with U52040 Nunnery Lane.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(U51111 Cranham Drive, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of U51111 Cranham Drive from its junction with B4639 Cotswold Way to its junction with U51200 Windermere Drive.
Reason: Carriageway resurfacing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4639 Cotswold Way, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, U51200 Tolladine Road, U51200 Windermere Drive and vice versa.
Maximum duration: 18 Months. Anticipated duration: 6 days between 11 August 2024 and 30 August 2024.
(U53137 Willow Street/U53136 Mill Street, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of Closure 1: U53137 Willow Street from its junction with U53136 Mill Street to its junction with U53138 Portland Street. Closure 2: U53136 Mill Street from its junction with U53137 Willow Street to its junction with U53138 Portland Street.
Reason: Footway reconstruction by WCC.

Order made: To close that part of U50026 Berkeley Street from its junction with U50028 Pitchcroft Lane to its junction with U50025 Somers Road.
Reason: Installation of dropped kerb for vehicle crossing by WCC. Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: U50028 Pitchcroft Lane, U50025 Lyttleton Street, U50025 Somers Road and vice versa.

(U50027 Waterworks Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Waterworks Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1995 (Temporary Suspension) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of U50027 Waterworks Road from its junction with U50030 Sandys Road to its junction with U50031 Pope Iron Road and to temporarily suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Waterworks Road, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1995 to enable two-way traffic to access residents and businesses on the remaining section of Waterworks Road, for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Dropped kerb installation for vehicle crossing by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Order made: To close that part of C2290 Wylds Lane from its junction with U52324 Cole Hill to its junction with U53013 Hamilton Road and to temporary (part) suspend The County of Hereford and Worcester (Various Roads, Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) (Amendment) Order 1980 to allow two-way traffic on Wylds Lane and The County of Hereford and Worcester (Park Street and Foundry Street (part), Worcester) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1978 to allow two-way traffic to be able to access residents and businesses for the duration of the Order.
Reason: Utility works by Severn Trent Water.

Proposed Order: To close that part of Link Footpath F50056 Foley Road to Bromyard Road (alongside School) from its junction with A449 Bromwich Road to its junction with U54247 Foley Road.
Reason: Footpath reconstruction by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(B4636 Newtown Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of B4636 Newtown Road from its junction with B4205 Midland Road to its junction with U51330 Sherriff Street.
Reason: Hydrant renew in carriageway by Severn Trent water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: B4636 Newtown Road, B4638 Woodgreen Drive, B4637 Middle Hollow Drive, B4637 Tolladine Road, B4205 Shrub Hill Road, B4205 Midland Road and vice versa.

Order made: To close that part of C2298 Bransford Road from its junction with U62402 To close that part of C2298 Bransford Road from its junction with U62402 Broadmore Green to its junction with A4103 Bransford.
Reason: New customer connection by Severn Trent Water.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Proposed Order: To close that part of U50214 Beech Avenue North from its junction with U50213 Beech Avenue to its junction with B4482 Bilford Road.
Reason: Replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

(B4482 Bilford Road, Worcester) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Order made: To close that part of B4482 Bilford Road from its junction with A38 Droitwich Road to its junction with U50214 Beech Avenue North (one side of the carriageway only, in an easternly direction).
Reason: New/replacement gas main by Cadent Gas.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Droitwich Road, A38 Barbourne Road, A38 The Tything, A38 St Marys Street, A38 Sansome Walk, A38 City Walls Road, B4205 St Martins Gate, B4205 Pheasant Street, B4550 Lowesmoor Terrace, B4550 Rainbow Hill, B4550 Astwood Road and B4482 Astwood Road.

Order made: To close that part of U52228 Norton Road from its junction with U52205 Aldersey Road to its junction with A38 Bath Road.
Reason: Realignment of carriageway and footway, installation of dropped crossing points and a raised table by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Alternative route: A38 Bath Road, U52202 Bunns Road, U52205 Barnes Way, U52205 Aldersey Road and vice versa.

(C2138 Dilmore Lane, North Claines) (Temporary Closure) Order 2024
Proposed Order: To close that part of C2138 Dilmore Lane from its junction with U41002 Jacob Ladder Lane to its junction with U41006 Lower Town.
Reason: Replacing of anti-corrosion materials and street furniture on the gas pipeline by ACAPS.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.
Please note: no access for emergency vehicles, follow diversion route.

Reason: Upgrade and maintain the integrity of the gas network by Anglia Cathodic Protection Services Ltd.

Reason: Pedestrian refuge removal and carriageway/footway resurfacing and subsequent works over multiple phases by WCC.
Exemptions: To permit access to any land or premises fronting the highway affected where there is no other form of access; and to allow the works to be undertaken.

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (As Amended) The County of Worcestershire (C2109 and C2209 Station Road, Wadborough) (Restricted Roads) Order 2000 (Revocation) and (Various Roads, Wadborough) (30 mph Speed Limit)
On 4 July 2024 Worcestershire County Council made an Order with a MODIFICATION the effect of which will be to extend the speed limit on the following lengths and sides of roads in C2100, Wadborough: From its junction with C2109 for a distance of 156 metres in a southerly direction and for a distance of 410 metres in a north westerly direction.
C2109, Wadborough: From a point 18 metres west of its junction with C2100 for a distance of 160 metres in a north easterly direction. C2209 (Station Road): From its junction with the C2109 for a distance of 282 metres in a north westerly direction. The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles. *NB The effect of this modification is that the above 30 mph speed limit restriction on C2100 Wadborough from its junction C2109 for a distance of 106 metres in a southerly direction has been replaced with from its junction with C2109 for a distance of 156 metres in a southerly direction.
