TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FOOTPATH MARKYATE 16 & 18
NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council have made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit pedestrians from using that length of Footpath Markyate 16 & 18, heading south and west from junction with Park Close, for an approximate distance of 600 & 450m.
Alternative route: via Markyate 17, 18 ,19 and Roe End Lane The purpose of the Order is to enable pylon works to take place. The section of Footpath will be closed on or after 21 July 2024 for up to 5 weeks, when signs are in place. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF HILL END ROAD, ST ALBANS) ORDER 2024
NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Hill End Road, St Albans from its junction with Highfield Lane south westwards to its junction with Frobisher Road, a distance of approximately 382m ("the Road"). An alternative route will be via Highfield Lane, Highfield Park Drive, Nightingale Lane and Hill End Road.
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. However, the restrictions specified shall only take effect at the times indicated by signs on or near the Road. NOTICE is given that the Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicles from being driven at a speed exceeding 30mph on that length of A1081 London Colney Bypass, London Colney from its junction with the A414 London Colney roundabout south eastwards to its junction with the A1081 The Bell roundabout, a distance of approximately 2185m ("the Road").
The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.
If the Order is made, it shall come into force on 5 August 2024 for a period of up to 18 months. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads ("the Roads") and to prohibit all vehicles from waiting at any time on both sides of these lengths of Roads whilst works are in progress:-
1. that length of A1081 London Road, St Albans from its junction with Watsons Walk north westwards to its junction with Westbourne Mews, a distance of approximately 336m.
An alternative route will be via A1081 London Road, A414 North Orbital Road, A5183 (Watling Street/St Stephens Hill/Holywell Hill) and A1081 London Road.
2. that length of Marlborough Road, St Albans from its junction with A1081 London Road north eastwards to its junction with B691 Victoria Street, a distance of approximately 170m.
An alternative route will be via A1081 London Road, Lattimore Road and B691 Victoria Street.
3. that length of Upper Marlborough Road, St Albans from its junction with B691 Victoria Street north eastwards to its junction with Bricket Road, a distance of approximately 244m.
An alternative route will be via B691 Victoria Street and Bricket Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all pedestrians from using St Albans City Public Footpath No.065 from its junction with Dellfield north westwards to its junction with St Albans City Pubic Footpath No.064, a distance of approximately 32m ("the Public Footpath").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the north east and west sides of Dellfield and St Albans City Public Footpath No.064. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Public Footpath.
The Order has been made and shall come into force on 22 July 2024 for a period of up to 6 months. An alternative route will be via B5378 Napsbury Lane, Napsbury Lane, A414 North Orbital Road, A1081 London Road and Mile House Lane or via Mile House Lane, A1081 London Road, A414 North Orbital Road and B5378 (Shenley Lane/Napsbury Lane). The Order is needed because bridge inspection works are proposed to be executed near the Road.

The Order is needed because sewer cleaning works are proposed to
be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Ridge Avenue, Harpenden from its junction with Ridgewood Drive north westwards, south westwards and north westwards to its junction with Molescroft, a distance of approximately 300m ("the Road"), except for access. An alternative route will be via Ridgewood Drive, Tuffnells Way, Farm Avenue and Molescroft.
ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of the Road whilst works are in progress. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road.

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be:-
1. To prohibit all traffic from using that length of B651 St Albans Road, Sandridge from its junction with St Heliers Road north eastwards to its junction with Highfield Road, a distance of approximately 460m ("the Road").
An alternative route will be via B651 St Albans Road, Beech Road, A1081 (Harpenden Road/St Albans Road), B652 Station Road, B653 Lower Luton Road and B651 (Station Road/ High Street/The Hill/Wheathampstead Road/ High Street/St Albans Road).
2. To prohibit all pedestrians from using the footway situated on the north west side of B651 St Albans Road, Sandridge from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.4 St Heliers Road north eastwards for a distance of approximately 280m ("the Footway").
An alternative route will be via the footway situated on the south and north sides of St Heliers Road, the footpath fronting Nos.22-54 St Albans Road, the footway situated on the south east side of Reynolds Crescent and the footway on the south east side of B651 St Albans Road. The Order is needed because works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road and Footway.

1. that length of Bricket Road, St Albans from its junction with B691 Victoria Street north eastwards and south eastwards to its junction with Upper Marlborough Road, a distance of approximately 312m.

3. that length of Upper Marlborough Road, St Albans from its junction with A1057 Hatfield Road south westwards for a distance of approximately 98m.
An alternative route will be via A1057 Hatfield Road, Camp Road, B691 (Stanhope Road/ Victoria Street) and Upper Marlborough Road.
4. that length of Lattimore Road, Wheathampstead from its junction with Wick Avenue south westwards to its junction with Butterfield Road, a distance of approximately 351m.
An alternative route will be via Wick Avenue and Butterfield Road or via Wick Avenue, Brewhouse Hill and Butterfield Road.
5. that length of Barton Road, Wheathampstead from its junction with Lattimore Road south eastwards for its entire length.
There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. However vehicular access to properties in this road will be maintained whenever possible throughout the duration of the works.
6. that length of Butterfield Road, Wheathampstead from its junction with Brewhouse Hill south eastwards for a distance of approximately 110m. An alternative route will be via Brewhouse Hill, Wick Avenue and Butterfield Road.
7. that length of Creighton Avenue, St Albans from its westernmost junction with Holyrood Crescent north westwards, north eastwards and south eastwards for a distance of approximately 500m.

There is no alternative route available for vehicles when the works are being carried out. 25. that length of Hawthorn Way, Chiswell Green from a point in line with the southern boundary of No.24 Hawthorn Way north westwards for a distance of approximately 88m.
