Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Oxford, Footpath closures - Jubilee Walk/Thames Path Date of Order: 05/08/2024 Coming into force: 12/08/2024
This Order is being introduced because of construction of new river bank retaining walls which are anticipated to be completed on 31 October 2024. This is a 24 hour footpath closure.
The effect of the Order is to close temporarily part or whole section of the footpath number/s Jubilee Walk (320/5/10 & 320/4/30) - between Folley bridge and Gasworks Bridge and between Folly Bridge and Donnington Bridge. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force.
Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of footpath. The alternative route will be signed locally. (Ref: T14045/AC)
Notice of Temporary Traffic Order
Cowley, Garsington/Watlington Road Cycle Lane Date of Order: 15/07/2024 Coming into force: 22/07/2024 This Order is being introduced because of electricity supply works which are anticipated to be completed 29 November 2024. This is a 24 hour cycle lane closure. The effect of the Order is to close temporarily sections of Cycle Lanes/footways between the Bullnose Morris PH and the A4142 bypass roundabout. Appropriate signs will be displayed to indicate when the measures are in force. Exemptions are included for emergency services, for Works and for pedestrian access to premises which are only accessible from the closed sections of cycle lanes/ footpath. Temporary walkways will be provided for dismounted cyclists. The alternative routes will be signed locally. (Ref: T14191/AC)
