Notice is hereby given that the Wiltshire Council intends to make Orders to close temporarily to all traffic: A) ClanviNe (Part), Stanton St Quintin and Seagry; from its junction with C166 for a distance of approximately 175m in a south easterly direction to enable Global Utility Connections to carry out installation of HV ducts, cables and associated works. And to temporarily suspend the existing One-Way Order on Wilcot Road to facilitate for diversion for traffic to enable Wiltshire Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing, road marking, adjustment of ironworks and associated works. Alternative route via C52 - A345 and vice versa. The closures and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 15 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 until 03 September 2024. It is anticipated that the works will take the stated duration to complete depending upon weather conditions. And to temporarily suspend the existing prohibition order of no entry for vehicles from Cross Hayes junction into Silver Street to facilitate for diversion for traffic to enable Openreach to carry out access to underground network to install fibre cables and associated works. Alternative route A via High Street - Oxford Street - Cross Hayes - Silver Street. Alternative route B via Silver Street - St Dennis Road - High Street. The closure and diversion route will be clearly indicated by traffic signs. This Order will come into operation on 12 August 2024 and the closure will be required between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 for 5 days.
