(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure required for Northern Gas Network works) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Buslingthorpe Lane, Meanwood, Leeds in the Chapel Allerton Ward at its junction with Meanwood Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Meanwood Road, Sackville Street, Sheepscar Street North, Buslingthorpe Lane. Buslingthorpe Lane, Sheepscar Street North, Sheepscar Street South, Meanwood Road. Essential access to and from premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 22nd July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways Temporary prohibition of right turns into Calverley Lane & Calverley Lane Bridge from A6120 Broadway/ Horsforth New Road Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Broadway, Horsforth, Leeds in the Horsforth Ward between its junctions with Broadway and Horsforth New Road. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Broadway, Horsforth New Road, Rodley Lane. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 22nd July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road Closure required for gas mains replacement works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Main Street, Allerton Bywater, Leeds in the Kippax & Methley Ward between its junctions with Station Road and Park Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Park Lane, Barnsdale Road, Station Road and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 29th July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Road closure gas main replacement) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Shadwell Lane, Alwoodley, Leeds in the Alwoodley Ward at its junctions with Ring Road Moortown and Shadwell Lane. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Ring Road Moortown, Roundhay Park Lane, Shadwell Lane and vice versa. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 24th July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Works near Wellington Road footbridge as part of Armley Gyratory Phase 2b works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: 1. No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel North West bound along Armley Road, Armley, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward at its junction with A58 Wellington Road from for approximately 30m on 28th July 2024 to 31st March 2025. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Armley Gyratory, Canal Street, Armley Road. 2. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Wellington Overbridge, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward either side of the footbridge above Wellington Road from 28th July to 29th July 2024. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be avaiable via: A signed diversion route will be in place. 3. No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Ingram Road Distributor Footbridge, Leeds in the Boston & Holbeck ward either side of footbridge above the Ingram Road Distributor 28th July to 29th July 2024. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be available via:

No person shall cause or permit any pedestrian to travel along Wellington Overbridge, Leeds in the Little London & Woodhouse Ward between its junctions with Grainger’s Way, Armley Gyratory and Armley Road from 30th July 2024 to 31st March 2025. A diversion route for pedestrians affected by the closure will be avaible via. A signed diversion route will be in place. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Sunday 28th July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (Replace iron cast main works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: Phase 1: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Old Pool Bank, Pool in Wharfedale, Leeds in the Adel & Wharfedale Ward between its junctions with Sandy Lobby and Leeds Road from 26th July to 22nd September 2024. Phase 2: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Old Pool Bank, Pool in Wharfedale, Leeds in the Adel & Wharfedale Ward between its junctions with Quarry Farm Road and Leeds Road from 29th July to 20th October 2024. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closures will be available via: Old Pool Bank, Pool Bank New Road, Leeds Road and vice-versa. (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (utility and maintenance works) Leeds City Council has today made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to travel along Ninelands Lane, Garforth, Leeds in the Garforth & Swillington Ward from outside 12 Ninelands Lane to the junction with Derwent Avenue. A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via: Church Lane, Lidgett Lane, Selby Road and vice-versa. Church Lane, Grange Avenue, Derwent Avenue and vice-versa Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Wednesday 24th July 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Leeds has made the the Leeds City Council (G-Fest 2024) (Temporary Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2024 under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to introduce the following provisions – Prohibition of Waiting by Vehicles – 08:00 hours to 23:59 hours, Saturday 20th July 2024 on: 1. Ninelands Lane, Garforth – Both side of the road, from the junction with Church Lane to the Junction with Derwent Avenue. 2. Green Lane, Garforth – Both sides of the road, from the junction with Church Lane to the junction with Cricketers Close.  3. Green Lane, Garforth – South side from junction with Cricketers Close, to the junction with Green Lane Villas. The prohibitions of waiting are necessary because of the likelihood of danger to the public on the adjacent roads due to the holding of G-Fest 2024, which will increase vehicle and pedestrian numbers in the vicinity of the Event. (Frances Street, Farsley, Leeds) 

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2024

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the under mentioned highways (footway improvement works) Leeds City Council has made an Order the effect of which will be that: No person shall cause or permit any vehicle to park along Frances Street, Farsley, Leeds in the Calverley & Farsley Ward between its junctions with Old Road and New Street. Essential access to premises and for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The Order is intended to come into operation on Monday 5th August 2024 and will remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months or until the works are completed if earlier. The works are expected to be completed by Friday 23rd August 2024. The closure will be in place between 08:00 and 16:00 hrs Monday to Friday. G Moate. Ref: RC308555. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Leeds intends in no less than seven days to make the following Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: the LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (DEFINITIVE MAP FOOTPATH LEEDS No.87) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER

 024. The Order will close to pedestrians the length of Definitive Map Footpath Leeds No. 87, commencing next to Ridge Grove and Bandstand Allotments, for a distance of 10 metres. The diversion route will be via Meanwood Road, Leeds Footpath No.88 and Leeds Footpath No. 87, and vice versa.

The Order is necessary to enable works to be undertaken on or near the footpath in connection with the replacement of gas mains. The Order is due to come into operation on 26 July 2024 (to continue the closure provided by a section 14(2) Notice). It is anticipated that the works will be completed by 2 August 2024, at which time the Order will cease to have effect. The Order may however continue in effect, such as may be required by the progress of the works, to 17 January 2025.
