What is happening?

THE ROYAL BOROUGH OF 
WINDSOR & MAIDENHEAD
(CHURCH HILL (PART), WHITE WALTHAM)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) 
ORDER 2024
The Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead 
intends, not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to:-
Prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that part of Church Hill from northern boundary of property known as “New Lodge” southward for a distance of 312 metres.

The alternative route for vehicles affected by 
the Order is via Church Hill, B3024 Hurst Lane, 
Waltham Road and Church Hill. 

The purpose of the proposed Order is to facilitate essential boundary wall repairs and as a result there will be the likelihood of danger to the public.

The proposed Order shall be in operation daily between 10.00 hours and 16.00 hours from Monday 5th August until Friday 9th August 2024. 

The road will be closed when signs as prescribed by the Traffic Sign Regulations and General Directions 2016 are in place to indicate the said restrictions.
