What is happening?
WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL
(OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AND CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (AMENDMENT NO 13) ORDER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL PROPOSES to make the above Order the effect of which will be to further amend the WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (OFF STREET PARKING PLACES) (CIVIL ENFORCEMENT AND CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (as amended) (“the Principal Order”) to the extent as set out below but in all other respects the Principal Order remains in force:
(a) to delete the contents of Schedule 1 of the Principal Order relating to charges, charging hours and days and parking limits and to replace it with the contents of the schedule below; and
(b) with the exception of the Central (N) Library and Corn Exchange (Bear Lane) car parks where standard charges will continue to apply at all times
in line with the revised schedule below, to introduce amendments to the exemptions under the Principal Order by limiting the current full exemption
to disabled persons badge holders to a maximum period of three hours after which charges in accordance with the Schedule will apply.
